Welcome to Borås Camping. We are happy that you chose us as your destination. Below you will find some practical information that is good to know before your arrival. If you do not find what you are looking for, read under the other tabs under “Good to know” or under the information for the various accommodations, restaurant, activities and groups. Booking online
Changes to online bookings (camping.se) are made via my page at Camping.se or by calling guest services at +46 (0)771-117 117
Pay via payment card
To reduce the handling of cash and risk of theft, all lodging and all purchases made at reception, in the store, at the restaurant and in the kiosk are made via card. At the store, restaurant and kiosk, you can also pay with Swish.
Check-in and check-out times
Check-in is between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Late arrival can be accommodated provided that you, the guest, have contacted reception to notify them of your late arrival. NOTE During the low season, reception has limited opening hours. Always contact reception before your arrival for current times.
Hostel check-out is by 10:00 am
Cabin checkout is by 11:00 am
Campsite checkout is by 12:00 pm
No smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all of our buildings.
If you violate the no-smoking rule, you will be charged a sanitation fee of SEK 5,000.
Smoking is prohibited in all public areas and sites, such as playgrounds, the mini golf course, and the restaurant.
Emptying fee for non-camping guests
Non-camping guests are charged a fee of SEK 50 to empty the latrine and greywater. Note that emptying is only available while reception is open. For current times, contact reception/booking.
Keep in mind during your stay
In the event of an error or complaint, contact reception. If reception is closed, please contact Securitas, which may be able to help in some cases. Notify us of any issues during your stay as soon as possible so that we can correct them.
You are responsible for damage to the property and its contents during your stay, or if someone in your party has been careless. You are responsible for notifying the attendant/reception in this event.
Age requirement
To rent accommodation and camp with us, you must be a legal adult, at least 18 years of age, and able to show valid identification.
Laundry
Three of our service buildings have laundry rooms with a washing machine & dryer that require tokens. Tokens are available at reception.
Key system
Your key card or key tag will be programmed when you check in and will work for as long as your booking and payment are valid. Key cards/tags are dropped off when checking out. Keep in mind that all doors lock automatically when closed. Always have your key with you!
IF you need assistance because you have locked yourself out or lost your key outside of reception’s opening hours, you can call Securitas at 010-470 51 05. Guests will be charged the cost.
Visit Borås Zoo
We warmly recommend a visit to Borås’ beautiful zoo while you are in town.
Keep in mind that dogs are not permitted in the zoo. Never leave the dog in a hot car.
Carts are available for rent in the park if you have forgotten to bring your own or do not want to carry your picnic basket.
There are kiosks and restaurants in the park. There are also barbecue sites where you can prepare your own food. See under the tab “Accommodation” and then “Offers” for current entrance fees and package deals.
